Recommended Settings 
Recommended Software

We recommend that you use Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or greater. Please follow the steps outlined below to determine which version of Microsoft Internet Explorer you have.

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Choose Help>>About Internet Explorer from the menu bar of Internet Explorer
  3. To see which version of Internet Explorer you have look at the version number circled in the example below.

    In this example, Internet Explorer version 6 is being used.
General Tab Settings

If you are having difficulties with having the same or unaltered page being displayed after logging in or being transferred back to the login screen unexpectedly, please check the following setting(s) below to make sure that they are correct.

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Choose Tools>>Internet Options from the menu bar of Internet Explorer
  3. Next, click the 'Settings' button in the 'Temporary Intenet Files' section illustrated in the figure below.
  4. In the window(illustrated below) that appears after clicking the 'Settings' button, please make sure that the option 'Every visit to the page' is selected. If it is not already selected, please do so by clicking in the white circle next to it.
  5. Then click the 'OK' button to save the setting.
  6. Next, click the 'Delete Files' button in the 'Temporary Intenet Files' section illustrated in the figure below.
  7. In the window(illustrated below) that appears after clicking the 'Delete Files' button, please click the 'Yes' button.
  8. Next, click the 'Delete Cookies' button in the 'Temporary Intenet Files' section illustrated in the figure below.
  9. In the window(illustrated below) that appears after clicking the 'Delete Cookies' button, please click the 'Yes' button.
  10. Next, click the 'Clear History' button in the 'History' section illustrated in the figure below.
  11. In the window(illustrated below) that appears after clicking the 'Clear History' button, please click the 'Yes' button.
  12. Then click the 'OK' button to exit out of the window.
Security Tab Settings

If you are having difficulties with timezone errors(WebCheckINN only), please check the following setting(s) below to make sure that they are correct. These settings affect how your browser handles scripts, specifically JavaScript.

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Choose Tools>>Internet Options from the menu bar of Internet Explorer
  3. Choose the 'Security' tab by clicking on it.
  4. The following example illustrates the recommended setting of 'Medium'. If you have a setting other than this, the WebCheckINN application may not function as intended. If you do not have a slider display, please skip to the next step.
  5. Skip this step and the next step if your Security Tab looks as it does above. Shown below is the Security Tab when the settings have been customized by the user. Click the 'Customer Level...' button.
  6. Scroll to the 'Scripting' section of the list depicted in the window below. Make sure the settings below match those of your browser and then click the 'OK' button to save them.
Privacy Tab Settings

If you are having difficulty logging in and staying logged in, please check the following setting(s) below to make sure that they are correct. These setting(s) affect how your browser handles cookies.

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Choose Tools>>Internet Options from the menu bar of Internet Explorer
  3. Choose the 'Privacy' tab by clicking on it.
  4. The following example illustrates the recommended setting of 'Medium'. If you have a setting other than this, the WebCheckINN application may not function as intended. If you do not have a slider display, please skip to the next step.
  5. Skip this step and the next step if your Privacy Tab looks as it does above. Shown below is the Privacy Tab when the settings have been customized by the user. Click the 'Advanced...' button.
  6. Your browser's setting must match those illustrated below except the setting for 'Third-party Cookies. Once you've made any changes that are necessary, click the 'OK' button.
Content Tab Settings

If you experience a problem navigating to one of our web sites and get a page that says "The page cannot be displayed", please check the settings outlined below.

You may have settings on Internet Explorer that restrict internet web browsing to certain web sites. In addition, your administrator may have installed third party software that restricts internet web browsing. If this is the case, you'll need to contact your administrator to have our web site added to the list of web sites that you can browse.

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Choose Tools>>Internet Options from the menu bar of Internet Explorer
  3. Choose the 'Content' tab by clicking on it.
  4. The following example illustrates the default buttons for the 'Content Advisor'. If the two buttons in the 'Content Advisor' section do not read 'Enable...' and 'Settings...', please skip to the next step.
  5. Skip this step if your Content Tab looks as it does above. Shown below is the Content Tab when the 'Content Advisor' has been turned on. Please contact your administrator to modify the settings so that you may browse to the Corporate Lodging Consultant's web sites.
